2. Return Condition Criteria

To receive a full 100% refund without restocking penalties, returns must satisfy the following physical criteria:

• Instrument Condition: The aluminum or brass chassis must be free of catastrophic impact dents, deep gouges, or evidence of forced tool disassembly. (Natural desk handling or fingerprints are completely acceptable).
• Original Components: The instrument must be returned with its solid American walnut display dock, optical calibration cloth, and protective packaging foam.
• Inspection Certificate: The serialized ±0.02mm signed Zurich inspection slip must accompany the box to maintain secondary archive provenance.
• Note on Raw Patina Brass: Light surface oxidation or initial patina from skin touch will NOT invalidate your return. We appreciate the living nature of naval brass.
